
When Ian Reeves first became interested in real estate he read about all these people who had successfully built up passive income streams through real estate to cover basic living expenses in as little as 4 to 5 years. He crunched the numbers and saw that he needed 23 cash-flowing rental units. He turned to flipping houses for cash to combine with BRRR to build up that portfolio. Using systems and processes to scale his business in his first year he was able to flip one property for every two he kept through BRRRR (Buy, Renovate, Rent, Refinance). He shared in his review of year one that in his business they were rehabbing 9 houses at once, so that they could add 3 properties per month.
He was doing everything the cool kids on all the podcasts were telling him to do . . . Scaling . . 10 Xing . . . Leveling Up . . . and Griding It Out.
That was about 5 years ago with the enthusiasm of a brand new investor.
