This Live Event will also be Simulcast for those who cannot attend in person.
We have a great meeting planned this month. Show up early and you might get a cookie before we run out. Now if that's not motivation to show up on time I don't know what is. Refreshments will be served. The meeting will be presented virtually as well.
First, we will hear from out featured vendor this month. Evan Whitefield is an exterminator. He will help us manage what we should do if we have a problem or how to handle tenant requests. They will share how they deal with pests ranging from mosquitos and other insects to bats, rodents, woodpeckers and more. He has a very interesting slide show to present.

Evan Whitefield, Owner. A decade ago, I dreamed up a name for a pest control business- Buggies Pest Control. Four months later, my loving wife said I had to name my business, and Buggies was born. I had my first commercial pest account before I was even officially licensed by going to One Million Cups, running into longtime friends who trusted in me. That business is still an active account a decade later. I worked nights and weekends at Home Depot, in the lumber department, and mowed lawns/ leaf clean up during the start-up process leading up to my first baby being born. Joining the Northeast Johnson County Chamber gave me hope and a place to go to work on my business. This year, Buggies added Marc, our first full-time employee. It’s been great fun, and the best is yet to come!

Marc Herff, Director of Wildlife Services. Marc has been with Buggies Pest Control this year and previously was a trusted referral partner who worked for a Wildlife company in Kansas City. By bringing Marc in-house we now offer industry-leading Wildlife services along with our award-winning pest control. Marc is very passionate about animals and nature, growing up with a variety of pets including a carpet python, bull snake, Honduran milk snake, Pac man frog, tiger salamander, and tarantulas. An extreme outdoor enthusiast, Marc can be found on any unpaved road in the country either camping, biking, or hiking and always searching for a native snake or toad. He recently completed a 2-day bike trip covering over 100 miles on rough terrain. When not on the wild side, Marc enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, ages 7 and 3.
Our main speaker is Brian Lint. Brian is an accountant. He will share what tax strategies or changes we should be aware of prior to the beginning of the year.

Brian Lint, B.S., CPA - Owner
Brian is a graduate of John Brown University in Arkansas where he completed studies in Accounting and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a native of Lee's Summit, Missouri where he resides with his wife, two children and dog Rex. Brian is the founding member of LSCV CPAs PC. He has extensive experience in payroll, accounting, and tax preparation. Brian is fluent in Spanish and his hobbies include sports, coaching his kid's soccer team, and travel.
After the meeting you can hang around in the hallway and network with the speakers or other attendees. The more people that attend the easier it is to attract wonderful speakers in the future so your participation is extremely appreciated. Many groups around the metro our struggling. Let's show them that Landlords of Johnson County is still going strong. See you there!
