Virtual Online Meeting!
Thursday April 4th
@2pm Central on Zoom
Tax Attorney Extraordinaire John Hyre and Sarah Sullivan from SuGo Capital
As a smart investor, you look for excellent investments with tax advantages. And every year, you receive K-1s.
But most people don’t understand them. They are often complex (because “Congress” and “The IRS”).
Not taking the time to understand your K-1s would be a painful mistake.
Understanding your K-1s will:
--Provide details necessary to make informed decisions about investment strategies, retirement planning (i.e., to UBIT or not to UBIT, that is the question), and other considerations (e.g., Am I paying self-employment tax on the income? If so, might that be altered?);
--provide insight that will help you decide whether to hold or sell your interest; and
--help you effectively communicate with one of the most important people in your life: your tax professional (yay me!).
Join me for an hour April 4th (3pm EST) when I and 2 very sharp investors (one of whom I’ve already invested with, and I’m glad I did, and the other whom I’m getting to know and learning a lot from) as we walk through some diverse (yeah, I used that word to mean what it actually is supposed to mean) K-1s, and hit points, both basic & subtle, but all of importance.
We will compare and contrast K-1s and walk you through a comparison table (you can make a copy!)
P.S. Know someone else who would benefit from this knowledge? Simply forward this email to them
