At the Wealthy Code we learned that to become Wealthy we need to replace our current "working" income with passive income.  We also learned that we can generate passive income through rental properties, apartments, notes, or from a businesses we own.

So we are excited to present our March guest, Dave Van Horn.  Starting out as licensed Realtor, Dave started adding passive income through investing.  Starting with flips and rental houses, he has also invested in invested in office condos, mobile home parks, storage centers among other things, and also owned several real estate related businesses for that passive income.

Along the way he discovered the notes and started a company that specializes in buying distressed mortgage notes, and rehabbing the borrower to get them paying again.  They buy these notes with OPM, through private funding and then they sell these performing notes for chunks of cash or hold for passive income.

Today, Dave's main function in that business is to raise private capital to fund the Note Company and he does that through teaching across the country.

On Tuesday March 8th, Dave will be joining us to share from his experience . . how he has found success and built his wealth.

"If you don’t inherit money, marry money or win the lottery, you usually become wealthy by becoming a high income earner, or you become wealthy through the acquisition of assets… or some combination of all the above."

We can become wealthy by working hard through the Income Approach or we can work "smarter, not harder" by acquiring assets through the Asset Approach.

This assets can be many different things, Dave will be sharing with you a high level overview of the Note Investing Business as one of the Assets you might consider using as a vehicle to become wealthy in your Strategic Investment Plan.
